When you think of the 3-piece band and its place in history, what are the first few things that come to mind? The power of those 3 people, their songs, their harmonies, the space of what ISN’T there, the chemistry and interaction of its members that create such a unique, powerful, musical, colorful, and sometimes chaotic sound?
Us too.
The Strazzacasters are a continuation of the traditions that are set in stone in the template of Rock & Roll, RnB, Funk, Pop, Punk, and all that is yet to come.
The band consists of Tommy Strazza (Vocals, Guitar), Brian Prokop (Drums, Backing Vocals), and Jake Miller-Hoesly (Bass, Backing Vocals). They are capable of writing, producing, performing, and recording virtually any type of music under the sun. Simply, because they love all of it.
In the years since their arrival in May of 2013, they have played and performed between 200-300, 3-hour-plus shows. On top of writing their own material, they regularly perform and cover other people’s songs from artists as diverse as The Jimi Hendrix Experience(including a cover-to-cover performance of “Are You Experienced?”), to Nirvana, to Magic.
